 Prompt Response: I spent my holiday break by making sure I get a lot of sleep. I also went to play soccer with my friends at the field. I had a great Christmas overall. My goals I want to achieve are to get all a's, make MLS Next u19 team, don't get many tardies, and commit to college for soccer. These are important to me because they are what I live for. 

Summary: Today in class we did a writable assignment about our goals. 

Reflection: I learned my goals and what I want to achieve.


1. My first goal is to have all a's in school this year. This goal is important because it is good to have all a's and good for my future. I will achieve this goal by studying hard in my free time. I will also turn in all of my assignments on time and correct. Last, I will do well on my tests and quizzes to make sure I have the best chance to achieve my goal. I will to do this by the end of the school year in May. 

2. My second goal is to make the MLS Next u19 soccer team. This goal is important because I play soccer and want the best chance to play in college. I will achieve this goal by training hard and practicing a lot. I will run a lot and go to the gym to get stronger and faster. Also, it is very important that I play and get exposure so I have the best chance. I will do this by June after tryouts happen. 

3. My third goal is to make sure I don't get a lot of tardies this year. This is important because I need to be on time for school in the morning. I will make sure this goal happens by waking up early and getting out of the house on time. I will also go to sleep as early as possible and get good sleep. This goal is very possible and a goal that I need to make sure happens because their are consequences. I will do this by the end of school in May. 

4. My last and hardest goal is to commit to a college to play college soccer. This is important because I love soccer and only want to go to college to play soccer. I will achieve this by making sure I make certain teams and make sure I develop at a good rate. Also, I will send emails out to college coaches and play well in front of them. So this is my dream, and hope I will achieve it this year. I will do this by the last day of the year. (December 31st, 2026)

Reflection:  I learned the format of the first paragraph when talking about a claim.

  Prompt Response:  Overall the poem poster i enjoyed the most was Angus's. I think his poem was smooth and it transitioned very well all together. His poem poster also had very good lines that rhymed and flowed all together. Also it was very funny the lines he used. I believe he should've won, but he didn't. L learned he also loves basketball because he made it about basketball.  Summary: Today in class we presented our poem posters and did a work sheet on vocabulary.  Reflection:  Today I learned new words and what they mean from our vocabulary work.
