Write about a time when you did something out of the norm. What was it and how did others react?

Prompt Response -One time I fell asleep after school and woke up at 10pm. This was not normal because normally I would not take a nap after school. I would go to sleep around 11pm without a nap after school. No one really reacted because no one woke me up. I don't think anyone really cared about this.  Summary -  In class we did another poem reflection and did the Heart worksheet.  Reflection -  I learned more about poems and signs for hearts.

Dickinson uses the metaphor of a funeral to describe her inner struggles. What metaphor would you use to describe your own mind?

Prompt Response:  I would use a gumball machine to show my mind. This is because it is a spiral looking shape that represents the inside of my brain. Also it puts out gum just like information. So I think it would represent a a brain very well.  Summary: We read a poem and started on our hearts. Reflection:  Today I learned more about Dickinson.

Write about an adventure you would like to go on.

Prompt Response:  I want to go to Greece and explore. I would like to go for a couple of weeks and explore Europe in general. But most of all I want to go to Greece. It is very beautiful and very nice architecture. So if I had to pick I would want to go to Greece.  Summary: We did a work sheet and read a poem. Reflection:  I liked the lesson because the poem was good. I learned about poems.

Describe something you will never fully understand.

Prompt Response:  I will never fully understand why people go to space for fun. I don't understand this because it has a high risk of death. Also I don't think people actually enjoy it. I think they do it just to flex they went to space. I feel like it is kind of pointless to go to space, unless it's your job.  Summary: We presented our Origin myth posters.  Reflection:  I learned about peoples origin myth stories.

Write about something that you wish you had more of.

Prompt Response:  I wish I had more money. This is because when you have more money I think you are happier, but money doesn't buy happiness. I think it supports what makes you happy. Also More money means more thing to do that you enjoy. So I wish I had more money.  Summary: Today we worked on our visual representations of our origin myths. Reflection:   Today I worked on my poster and I learned more about origin myths.

What is the most creative thing you have ever made? Share what it was and explain why it stands out as your best work.

Prompt Response:  The most creative thing I ever made was an art piece last year made out of paper swirled up to make little pieces. With that I made the art piece "The starry night." It was a very long process to make but It ended up looking very nice. It was very creative because it showed a good representation of the art and looked very good compared to the real art piece. This was by far the best art work I have ever made. It took about 4 weeks to do it in school everyday.  Summary:  Today I worked on my Origin myth. Reflection:   I learned how to do my digital poster on Adobe express, and learned how to write my origin myths.

Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.

Prompt Response:  My two biggest questions about life are the moon landing and the false flag operations. These questions interest me because I want to know the answer, but might never find out the real answer. The moon landing sometimes looks fake, and people say its with a green screen. I think it is real but it definitely could be fake. I also think the false flag operations could be real with the government doing bad things. This seems like it could never be real because why would we hurt the country, but I see a way its real.  Summary: Today in class we made our own origin myths about the first humans or first earth.  Reflection:  I made my origin myth about the first people of Earth and their jealousy.

Describe a time you felt completely lost.

Prompt Response:   One time I felt completely lost when I was alone and had no parents for the week. I didn't know how to do certain things and couldn't ask for help. I felt alone and had no direction.  This was a very hard time for me and it showed me how much value my parents are. This is why I felt completely lost.  Summary: We presented our projects. Reflection:  I learned about the different English elements of "the lost Father."

Analyze how you’ve adapted to the demands of this course over the past week, and evaluate one strength and one challenge you anticipate as we progress, justifying your insights with personal examples.

Prompt Response:   I have adapted very well to the course this week. I have done all of my blog posts on time. I have also been getting lots of work done in class and staying productive. One strength will be I can focus because its very quiet in the class. One weakness is I don't know if I'll remember all of my blogs.  Summary: Today we worked on our projects and did an assessment on origin myths.  Reflection:   We had to do an origin myths assessment today.

Describe a real-life situation in which jealousy negatively affected a relationship you experienced.

Prompt Response:  One time I was Jealous when my friend had new soccer cleats when I wanted them, but never got them. This didn't really affect the relationship, but I was jealous. I would talk to him differently because I was jealous, but we stayed friends in the end. I still want them to this day.  Summary: In class today we worked on our project about the book The Jealous Father.  Reflection:  I worked on the setting and drew it.

Write about a meaningful object or place in your life that carries a story.

Prompt Response:  One object that is very meaningful to me is a soccer ball. This object is very meaningful to me because I have been playing soccer since I was 4. Almost everyday I will use this item. It has changed my life in so many ways. Soccer is very important to me, so a soccer ball is the most meaningful item for me.  Summary: We read a story and had picture day. Reflection:  We learned about novels and read and answer questions about the novel we read.
