Dickinson uses the metaphor of a funeral to describe her inner struggles. What metaphor would you use to describe your own mind?

 Prompt Response: I would use a gumball machine to show my mind. This is because it is a spiral looking shape that represents the inside of my brain. Also it puts out gum just like information. So I think it would represent a a brain very well. 

Summary: We read a poem and started on our hearts.

Reflection: Today I learned more about Dickinson.

  Prompt Response:  I have always been curious about the origin of the universe. I have always wondered about the start of life. Like what it was like and how people lived back then. Also hoe people were made and what they did back then.
