After reading “Out, Out—” by Robert Frost, reflect on a time when you faced a dangerous or high-pressure situation that demanded your complete focus. What made the situation risky, and how did your concentration affect the outcome?

Prompt Response: One time I had to use my complete focus was when I was going to drive on the highway for the first time. I was a little bit nervous but I needed to use my whole focus. It is a big step up from the regular road. I did pretty well and was pretty comfortable.

Summary: In class we worked on a poem and annotated it.

Reflection: I learned how to annotate a poem and learned how to break a poem down.

Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.

Write about an adventure you would like to go on.

Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.
